Yamuna Bridge, Naini-Allahabad

The Yamuna Bridge in Naini-Allahabad, India, is a 630m cable-stayed bridge connecting Allahabad and NH27. Encardio Rite provided sensors for monitoring the bridge construction, including the longest span of 260m. The bridge features cables and concrete anchor bridges and is India’s largest bridge of its kind. Encardio-rite supplied advanced instrumentation to ensure structural health and performance during the construction phase.

Yamuna Bridge, Naini-Allahabad

This project involves the construction of a 630 m cable-stayed bridge across the river Yamuna, a 3.9 km long approach along the new alignment of NH 27 and an underpass at the crossing of the proposed road alignment with the existing railway line. This cable-stayed bridge is India’s biggest bridge of its kind. It links Allahabad and NH27. The total length of the bridge is 1510 m, with a longest span of 260m, which is supported by cables and concrete anchor bridges.

Encardio Rite supplied several sensors to monitor the project during the construction of the bridge.
