Encardio Rite, the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of geotechnical instruments deals with Electrical, Magnetic, Digital, as well as, Mechanical Extensometers.
The advantages and impeccable features of Encardio Rite’s extensometers make them one of the best in the industry. These are:
- Extensometer installation and handling are easy.
- The extensometers are high in precision and performance as well.
- They are robust and ideal for rugged uses.
1. Model EMA-11 - Rock Bolt Extensometer: The EMA-11 measuring anchor, also known as the rock bolt extensometer, is used to determine the load exerted on rock bolts. It is a precision instrument designed to evaluate anchor system forces and their distribution within the length of the bolt and hence its safety and effectiveness.
2. Model EDS-91 - Magnetic Extensometer: The EDS-91 measures settlement or heave in foundations, embankments, fills, excavations, etc. This magnetic settlement recorder is accurate, robust, lightweight, and convenient to use. The system consists of an access tube, magnet assemblies, and a portable magnetic probe with a reed switch.
3. Model EDS-63U-D - Mechanical MPBX: Model EDS-63U/D is a mechanical multipoint borehole extensometer that is economical, reliable, and preferred to use at locations where access to the mouth of the borehole is easily available. The reading is taken manually with a micrometer depth gauge.
4. Model EDS-64U-D - Mechanical SPBX: EDS-64U-D is a single-point borehole extensometer that is preferred to use at locations where access to the mouth of the borehole is easily available. This borehole extensometer is suitable for a 50 mm borehole.
5. Model EDS-71V/EDS-71P - Electrical SPBX: The Encardio Rite model EDS-71V/EDS-71M single point borehole extensometer is a precision instrument designed to help civil engineers and geologists in the measurement of deformation of rock mass and adjacent or surrounding soil. Together with anchor bolt load cells, it is essential equipment for the investigation and monitoring of foundations, slopes & embankments and for studying the behavior of rock around underground cavities, tunnels, and mines.
6. Model EDS-70V/EDS-70P - Electrical MPBX: EDS-70V/EDS-70P Borehole extensometer measures extension that takes place with the time in a bored hole or several bored holes in a rock mass. Together with an anchor bolt load cell and tape extensometer, it is essential equipment for the investigation & monitoring of foundations, slopes & embankments and for studying the behavior of rock around underground cavities, tunnels, and mines.
7. Model EDS-92 - Soil Extensometer: The EDS-92 soil extensometer is used for monitoring displacement between two surfaces that may shift to each other. It is widely used for monitoring soil and rock movement in embankments and dams. The system contains a specially mounted model EDE-VXX vibrating wire displacement sensor, installed inside the protective tubing, fixed between two anchor beams with connecting rods.
