As a zero-carbon, zero-waste city, Masdar City is an ambitious sustainable urban development project located 17km southeast of Abu Dhabi. Our instrumentation, provided in collaboration with Arabian Foundations, ensured precise testing and monitoring for the city's foundation, contributing to its innovative and sustainable construction.

Masdar City

Masdar City is known as the Zero Carbon, Zero Waste City of the future. This city is a planned city project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Its core is being built by a subsidiary of the Mubadala Development Company. The city is being constructed 17 km southeast of the city of Abu Dhabi, walls of which are made of terracotta with arabesque patterns. From a distance, the city looks like a cube. A 45-meter-high wind tower modeled on traditional Arab designs pulls air from above and pushes a cooling breeze through Masdar’s streets.
