Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project

Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project is a part of the Punatsangchhu-I Hydroelectric Project being developed by the Punatsangchhu Hydroelectric Project Authority that is a joint venture of Governments of India and Bhutan. India’s Water and Power Consultancy Services (WAPCOS) is the engineering and design consultant for this project. The project consists of a concrete dam, 86 m high x 213.5 m wide at the top.

Encardio-rite was awarded the contract for supply, installation, commissioning, monitoring and maintenance of instruments for powerhouse complex. Instruments used included piezometer, borehole extensometer, load cells, measuring anchor, bi-reflex targets and portable read out units.
