Idukki Dam
Idukki Dam is a concrete, double curvature parabolic, thin arch dam constructed across the Periyar River between two granite hills known as Kuravan and Kurathi in Kerala, India. Completed in 1973, it is one of the highest arc dams in Asia, with a height of 168.91 m. The width of the dam is 7.62 m at the top and 19.81 m at the bottom. Encardio-Rite was awarded the complete contract for Real Time Early Warning Structure Health Monitoring & Data Interpretation (RESHMI).
