Vamsadhara Project Phase-II
Located on the Vamsadhara River in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, the Vamsadhara Project Phase-II is a crucial irrigation initiative designed to manage water flow for 45,000 acres. The project includes a 300-meter side weir and a 34 km flood flow canal with balancing reservoirs at Singidi and Parapuram, effectively diverting floodwaters for agricultural use. Encardio Rite was awarded the sub-contract in 2010 to supply and install safety monitoring instrumentation, enhancing the project's stability and reliability. The comprehensive instrumentation includes piezometers, uplift pressure cells, strain meters, earth pressure cells, load cells, water level recorders, and magnetic settlement systems. These tools provide real-time data on structural performance, ensuring safe and efficient water management. Encardio Rite’s advanced monitoring solutions play a vital role in supporting Andhra Pradesh's water infrastructure and agricultural productivity.
