Stockholm Metro Extension Project

The Stockholm Metro Extension in Sweden expands the Blue Line with 20 km of new track and 11 stations, including underground stretches from Kungsträdgården to Nacka and Södermalm. Encardio Rite, through its regional marketing associate, provided geotechnical instruments, including inclinometers and piezometers, for hydrogeological monitoring during pre-works. These instruments ensure ground stability and safety for the new sections, particularly the underground 4 km extension to Barkarby and Barkarbystaden stations, supporting Stockholm’s growing metro infrastructure and urban connectivity.
