South Beach Mixed Development

The South Beach mixed development in downtown Singapore required advanced ground monitoring and adjacent structure risk assessment during construction. Encardio Rite, through its regional marketing associate, provided a comprehensive monitoring solution using tilt beam sensors (at CCL Esplanade MRT station and tunnels), tilt sensors, piezometers, strain gauges, and crack meters. The real-time data ensured safety during construction and the structural stability of the new and existing buildings, helping to complete the project successfully and mitigate any potential risks effectively.

South Beach Mixed Development

South Beach is a landmark project in downtown Singapore. This high-rise mixed-building project combines new construction with the restoration of existing buildings. The North Tower will house a mix of office space and hotel, retail, and residential spaces, while the South Tower will house a mix of office, hotel, retail, and residential spaces. The towers are 45 and 42 storeys tall, respectively.

The project required ground monitoring instruments during construction and risk assessment of adjacent structures. Our marketing associate in the region provided the monitoring work. Hundreds of our sensors were used, including 85 numbers of Tilt beam sensors (at CCL Esplanade MRT station and tunnels), 3 numbers of tilt sensors, 40 numbers piezometers, 70 numbers of arc weldable vw strain gauges, and five numbers of crack meters. All sensors (100%) have operated satisfactorily.
