Kaleswaram- Tupakulagudem Barrage

The Kaleswaram-Tupakulagudem Barrage, also known as Sammakka Barrage, is a vital diversion structure across the Godavari River in Telangana. Encardio Rite provided comprehensive safety monitoring solutions for this 1.2 km long, 30 m high barrage with 48 radial-lift gates. Instruments like foundation piezometers, in-place inclinometers, and concrete pressure cells ensure stability, safety, and performance for irrigation, hydroelectric power, and water supply needs. With real-time monitoring systems, the project safeguards the reservoir's 6.94 tmcft capacity and supports Telangana's water management initiatives.
