DUO Mixed Development Project

The DUO Mixed Development in Singapore features contemporary twin towers housing residential units, offices, a hotel, and a retail gallery. Encardio Rite, through a regional marketing associate, provided essential structural monitoring solutions to ensure the stability of adjacent structures during construction. The project utilized 115 tilt beam sensors and 17 piezometers, particularly around the DTL1 Bugis MRT Station and tunnels. These instruments played a critical role in ground monitoring and risk assessment, ensuring the successful completion of this iconic mixed-use development in Singapore.

DUO Mixed Development Project

DUO is a contemporary twin-tower integrated mixed-use development in Singapore that comprises residential accommodation, offices, a hotel, and a retail gallery. The 39-storey DUO Tower is a commercial and hotel complex that sits on a retail podium known as the DUO Galleria, while the DUO Residence Tower consists of 660 residential units. The twin towers of DUO are curved, giving the impression of a dancing couple.

The project required ground monitoring and risk assessment of adjacent structures during the construction works. Our marketing Associate in the region provided the monitoring work. A number of our sensors were used, including 115 tilt beam sensors (at DTL1 Bugis MRT Station and Tunnels) and 17 piezometers. All sensors (100%) have operated satisfactorily.
