Changi General Hospital

Changi General Hospital, covering 180,000 square meters, required ground monitoring and risk assessment during the construction of its integrated building with two basement carparks. Encardio Rite, through a regional marketing associate, provided monitoring services that included deploying 10 piezometers and 28 arc weldable strain gauges to ensure construction safety. The sensors operated successfully throughout the project, delivering reliable data for structural stability and supporting safe expansion aligned with Singapore’s urban development goals for healthcare infrastructure.

Changi General Hospital

The Changi General Hospital campus covers approximately 180,000 square meters. With clearly defined connections to the overall campus and main building, the Integrated Building is designed in harmony with the surrounding urban fabric and landscape. It considers future development to create a holistic and viable design. The 8-story integrated building has two basement carparks.

The project required ground monitoring and risk assessment during the construction works. Our marketing associate in the region provided the monitoring work. Several of our sensors, including ten piezometers and 28 arc weldable strain gages, were used. All sensors (100%) have operated satisfactorily.
