Budhil Hydroelectric Project
Budhil Hydroelectric Project, India, is a run-off river hydro project located on a Budhil stream, a major tributary of the Ravi River, in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. The project's purpose is to utilize the Budhil stream's hydrological resources to generate zero-emission electricity.
The Project comprises a 64-meter-long concrete diversion dam over the stream, which is 58 meters high. The underground power house's total installed capacity is 70 MW.
Encardio-rite was awarded the sub-contract for supply as well as installation of safety monitoring instrumentation for the project.
